Little dachshund Frau Blucher settles down for a session of the traditional Chinese medical practice, adored by celebrities including Kim Kardashian and Gwyneth Paltrow.

The two-year-old canine doesn’t even whimper as the vet applies needles to pressure points on its back, in between its toes and even in its eyes, every fortnight.

Frau Blucher, named after a character in the 1974 horror film Young Frankenstein, suffers from Keratoconjunctivitis Sicca (KCS).
