Did you know that infants are less able to sweat than older children and adults? This means that their bodies have a harder time cooling themselves down. So it's vitally important that we do all we can to keep babies safe in the heat, knowing the warning signs of overheating and dehydration. Joining us with important heat safety tips is Rebecca Michelsen with Penfield Children's Center. Visit Penfield's Kohl’s Building Blocks site at PenfieldBuildingBlocks.org for more information about keeping kids safe and hydrated in the heat.
