NBC26 Storm Shield weather forecast

A warm front will be approaching the area which could touch off a shower or T'storm late tonight with mild and muggy lows in the upper-60s. A cold front be rolling through on Wednesday afternoon & evening, kicking off some scattered T'storms. If there's enough of a lull during the day and the sun comes out for awhile, any storm that would develop in the afternoon could be strong to severe. Highs will be warm and humid in the mid- to upper-80s. Behind the cold front on Thursday expect breezy, cooler and quiet weather with highs in the upper-70s. Another warm/hot and humid pattern returns going into the weekend & next week.
