NBC26 Storm Shield weather forecast

Wednesday was the second straight day with highs in the 80s & we have many more on the way!! Dew points were comfortable.....in the 50s......but will be going up into the sticky 60s/70s starting on Thursday. Along with the heat & humidity.......the chances of on/off thunderstorms will be going up as well. Each chance of thunderstorms will bring the chance of severe weather & heavy rain. Thursday will start out with sun & clouds but thunderstorm chances will be going up has we head towards evening. Friday will be warm and humid with a slight chance of a storm. This warmth is going to stick around right through the weekend. Highs will be the 80s with dew points in the 60s/70s making it feel quite humid. There will also be a chance for a thunderstorm each day as well, but it will NOT be an all-weekend rain by any means. Summer is here.....finally.
