SWAT standoff with Kentucky fugitive shuts down Westwood roads

A SWAT standoff involving a fugitive suspected of shooting at Kentucky police officers forced a series of road closures Tuesday afternoon in Westwood. Officers shut down McHenry Avenue between Harrison Avenue and Westwood Northern Boulevard as they attempted to draw 27-year-old Jacob Julick out of the apartment building in which they had been told he was hiding.
