Barn owl enjoys thorough head scratch

Shrek the barn owl was rescued 11 years ago when he was tiny and orphaned. It was a real struggle to get him to eat on his own, which was unsuccessful because he wouldn’t kill and eat the live food he was given. Four vets later they were advised that he will never make it own his own in the wild. So they made the decision to keep him. Here he is enjoying a good head scratch!
