Another suspected animal poisoning in The Lakes, HOA to issue urgent alert

Some pet owners in The Lakes community near Desert Inn and Fort Apache are concerned after the recent discovery of a dead bird near some seeds which appear to be identical to those used in a series of deadly pet poisonings earlier this year. Pet owner Sean Cornwall says the discovery was made by a neighbor last Monday near a popular dog walking spot at Prize Lake Drive and Lake North Drive.
