Marcia Cross Speaks Out About Her Battle With Cancer

Marcia Cross wants to “educate the public about HPV” by talking about her own battle with anal cancer. According to CNN, she revealed her diagnosis in 2018 through a series of Instagram photos. Cross said: “It is so common that nearly every person who is sexually active will get it at some point in their lifetime.” She said HPV can lead to cervical and other cancers and can take years to develop. Cross is best known for her role as Bree Van de Kamp on “Desperate Housewives.”
