Three-day search for clues in 40-year-old disappearance ends

Teams did not find the remains of Randy Sellers, who disappeared in 1980 and may have been killed by serial murderer Donald Evans. In 1994, the killer told investigators he had killed Sellers and buried him in Kincaid Lake State Park. A search that year turned up empty — but crews returned Sunday with a new interpretation of Evans's directions, hoping they would finally find something.
