A renowned British conservationist kayaked to one of the world's most untouched remote paradise islands -- and found it covered in piles rubbish from the rest of the world.

Duncan Murrell, 65, was on a month long island-hopping expedition through Raja Ampat in Indonesia, and stopped at a spectacular remote fishing village.

When he arrived the 100m stretch of beach, used by the locals to launch their fishing boats, it was pristine, and the crystal clear water free of any litter.
