The price of OPUS card fares and passes is set to go up July 1st
The price of OPUS card fares and passes is set to increase by 2% on July 1, 2019. The city says the increase is to cover inflation and offset maintenance costs. But with ever present metro issues and a less than stellar 2018 report from the STM, the question is how much maintenance will be actually be done.
Single fare passes in Montreal will go up to $3.50, among the most expensive in the country. Whereas the monthly passes will go up to $86.50, among the most affordable in the country.
