Aladdin Tops Box Office On Opening Night

Aladdin is off to a stellar start at the box office.
According to ComicBook.com, on Thursday, Aladdin pulled in $7 million against some solid competition.
The film is on track to make around $80 million in its opening weekend.
Other Disney live-action adaptations that have debuted to similar numbers include Cinderella at $67 million, and Maleficent at $69 million.
Aladdin will likely do much better than Disney's most recent release Dumbo, which only netted $347.1 million worldwide.
