Hello Kitty is the second highest money making franchise in the world. According to Comicbook.com, the franchise brings in around $80 billion USD worldwide. During the Sanrio Character Grand Prix, fans were asked to vote on their favorite Sanrio mascot. Fans all over can participate by voting online, in stores and in the app TikTok. Although the competition ends May 27th, Hello Kitty leads the race with around 7 million votes.
