Las Vegas police are hosting a free crime meeting today. Burglaries and thefts are on the rise in Las Vegas, police say. Nearly 50% of home and auto burglaries were done via "unforced entry" meaning the homes and cars were left unlocked! The community meeting will be held at Sahara West Library near Sahara and South Grand Canyon Drive from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.. The meeting is free and open to the public.
