Possible code issues may have contributed to Edgewood Fire Deaths

The Maryland State Fire Marshal's office is investigating a townhouse fire in Edgewood that killed three people Thursday morning. The Office of the State Fire Marshall is investigating the fire and subsequent deaths. Potential issues with fire alarms, as well as code violations as to whether the property owner should have been using the townhouse as a rental property, may yield criminal charges.
