Steve Scalise blasts Democrats for bad priorities

"We have a crisis at the border. The president just sent a supplemental request to congress so we can have more money for detention beds. ... And the Democrats’ heads [are] in the sand," Scalise noted in his own speech Wednesday delivered after the conclusion of Cheney's speech.

"The committee of jurisdiction under Chairman Nadler’s mishandling of that committee has led to a kangaroo court where he just wants to focus on harassing the president and his family instead of focusing on the problems that our country is facing, including this crisis at the border."
