Justin Timberlake To Receive Contemporary Icon Award

Justin Timberlake will receive the Contemporary Icon Award from the Songwriters Hall of Fame. He will get the award on June 13th at the organization's 50th annual induction ceremony in New York. According to SFGate, Timberlake is the second musician to receive the award. The first person to be honored for their “iconic status in pop culture” was Lady Gaga in 2015. Timberlake co-wrote all of his solo hit songs, such as “SexyBack,” “Cry Me a River” and “Gone.”
