Cellphone blasts inside the pocket of a factory worker

A CCTV footage has captured the moment a cellphone exploded inside the pocket of a man who is said to be a worker in a hardware factory in Sakinaka in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

The visuals show fumes coming out of the pant pocket all of a sudden as the man gets up in the panicked state and takes out the cellphone and throws it immediately on the ground.

His co-workers who see the mishap unfold run away in fear as the man also runs away after throwing the fuming cellphone on the ground.

The fume was later extinguished pouring water on it.
The cellphone manufacturer is said to be Motorola.
