Why did The New York Times publish a report this week that read like an FBI press release and outlined how the agency had in 2016 employed multiple spies to surveil then-GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump’s foreign policy adviser George Papadopoulos?
Why would the Times, which is notoriously far-left, out the FBI like this? According to former Utah Congressman Jason Chaffetz, it's because the paper was trying to get ahead of the narrative and "inoculate" both itself and the Obama administration from potential damage.
