Kelly Clarkson Got Appendix Surgery After Billboard Awards

As soon as Kelly Clarkson was done hosting the Billboard Award live on NBC, she flew to L.A. According to Extra, Clarkson had a morning surgery schedule to have her appendix removed. On Twitter she wrote about possibly crying after the show from the pain it was causing her. But she updated her fans, telling them she felt “awesome” after the surgery. Clarkson was able to pull off hosting the show, performing an opening medley.
