Robert Downey Jr. Inspired 'I Love You, 3,000' Line In 'Avengers: Endgame'

One of the most memorable lines from “Avengers: Endgame” is the line: “”I love you, 3,000.” This line is first said by Tony Stark's daughter in the film and is the last words he leaves his family. “Endgame” screenwriter Stephen McFeely said the original line was “I love you tons.” According to Business Insider, the actual “3,000” line was inspired by Robert Downey Jr. McFeely said Downey Jr.’s children actually say that phrase to him.
