NBC26 Storm Shield weather forecast

High pressure will slowly build into the the area overnight & then control our weather into Sunday morning. We will finally get a break from the wet weather. Friday will feature clouds mixing with pockets of sunshine. High temps will be below normal for the the 7th straight day with mid/upper 50s expected. Saturday will feel great after what we've been seeing. We'll have sunshine and highs climbing all the way into the mid/upper-60s, though cooler lakeside. Sunday will have a chance of an afternoon shower or t-storm, but it will still be warm with highs in the 60s to around 70° before the rain arrives. A much cooler & wet weather pattern returns next week.
