Macomb County jail deputies facing excessive force, criminal sexual conduct charges

Two Macomb County Jail corrections deputies are facing criminal charges. According to a release, an investigation began after two use-of-force incidents involving Corrections Officer James Stanley, 39. On July 11, 2018, an inmate had been brought into the jail for Disorderly Person. He was placed into a restraining chair by several corrections deputies for his own safety due to his behavior, according to the release.
