SNL's Kate McKinnon To Play Disgraced Theranos Founder In New Hulu TV Series

Business Insider reports "Saturday Night Live" star Kate McKinnon will play Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes in a Hulu TV series called "The Dropout." Holmes founded Theranos in 2003 as a blood-testing startup and claimed that her new technology could revolutionize the industry. But after federal investigators noticed a 2015 Wall Street Journal article that raised questions about the company's credibility, it eventually ceased operations.
