Staff at UMC say a child is more likely to die from abuse in the Las Vegas valley than a car crash or cancer, which is why they are trying to bring awareness to this issue. UMC says 9 kids died in their hospital last year from abuse. If you suspect a child is being abused you can call 702-399-0081 to report it.
