More than 120 people have been arrested, over 50 bus routes closed and half a million Londoners' lives disrupted as a series of climate change protests entered a second day.

Activists from the Extinction Rebellion pressure group were today still occupying Parliament Square, Oxford Circus, Marble Arch and Waterloo Bridge in central London. Scotland Yard said 122 people have been arrested while 55 bus routes in the capital have had to be closed due to the disruption caused.
