Metro Detroit orthodontists collect hundreds of boxes of Girl Scout cookies for troops overseas

Sending care packages to troops overseas is a way of giving our heroes a taste of home. An orthodontics office in Commerce Township is taking it a step further with their generosity by supporting local Girl Scouts. It’s not common to see cases of Girl Scout cookies when you walk into an orthodontist’s office. When Girl Scouts were selling cookies to Dr. Mark Berkman and Dr. Lainie Shapiro, they couldn’t say ‘no.’
