Telling Milwaukee Stories of Hurt and Hope
"The Milwaukee Anthology" is a book on hope and hurt in one of America's toughest ZIP codes, brightest Midwestern 'burg and biggest U.S. small town... depending on the day. Joining us to discuss this collection of nonfiction and poetry by local writers, artists, and "doers". Editor Justin Kern joins us, along with poet and contributor Robert Earl Thomas, to discuss this nationally published book. The official release of "The Milwaukee Anthology" is happening today - Milwaukee Day - April 14 at Boswell Book Company, which will include readings from book contributors. Then, on Wednesday, April 24 at The Retreat (2215 N MLK Jr. Drive), there will be a reading and community conversation with contributors to the book. For more information, visit BeltPublishing.com.
