NBC26 Storm Shield weather forecast

There is the potential for a little rain/mix tonight into Friday morning. Some sun will peek out by the afternoon with highs in the low-50s. Friday night looks mild and quiet with lows in the upper-30s. Temps around 60 may make it here for Saturday & Sunday. Gusty SE winds will keep it cooler near the lake. Both days will feature a mix of clouds/sun & the chance a few showers. Gusty westerly winds will warm everybody up into the 60s on Monday. Colder weather & the chance of accumulating snow returns later next week. So far it has been relatively dry which is good for the ongoing flooding situation on a couple of rivers. River flood warnings remain in place for the Wolf River and the Fox River. The latest data is showing those rivers slowly dropping.
