Info from Licensor: "This calf was born on a Montana ranch with a rare condition called ectopia cordis in which the heart forms outside the chest cavity. The heifer calf, with her heart visibly beating in her neck, otherwise appears healthy and is able to stand and suckle her mother. There have been very few long term studies on this condition and according to the Canadian Veterinary Journal (2011), there are only 118 documented cases at this time."
