Primary elections for several cities in the valley take place on April 2. In Las Vegas several city council seats are up for grabs. Current Mayor Carolyn Goodman is also seeking a final term. Six other candidates are challenging her. Elections will also take place in Henderson, North Las Vegas and Boulder City. Polls open at 7 a.m. and close 7 p.m.
