Anti-Abortion Film ‘Unplanned’ Opens Weekend With $6 Million

Faith-based film distributor Pure Flix recently released an anti-abortion film called “Unplanned.” According to SFGate, the film was very successful during it opening weekend reeling in $6.1 million. This number was double the amount the film was projected to receive by box office trackers. The film tells the true story of Abby Johnson, a former Planned Parenthood clinic director who left the organization.
