As fans celebrate Royals opening day, hundreds of volunteers came out for Greater Kansas City Day. This is the 32nd annual event where roughly 1,200 volunteers stopped at various places throughout Kansas City selling a special edition of Kansas City Star opening day newspapers and Royals flags. The money benefits the Rotary Youth Camp, which gives children who are disadvantaged or disabled the chance to have fun at camp.
