Sting is set to start in the Tony-nominated musical “The Last Ship” in 2020. According to Extra, the musical was inspired by Sting’s 1991 album “The Soul Cages” and his childhood. Sting said: “It’s more of a debt really, I’m repaying a debt because that town made me who I am.” The Grammy Award-winning artist said it’s “ a very emotional story” and sometimes he cries. “The Last Ship”will run from Jan. 14 to Feb. 16, 2020 in the Ahmanson Theater.
