Temperatures above freezing will allow the snowpack to continue melting. River flooding remains an issue for the Peshtigo, Ocotno, Wolf, and Fox Rivers in our area. Skies will clear tonight with temperatures dropping to near 20 degrees with calm winds. Saturday looks pretty nice without too much wind and highs around 50 under an abundance of sunshine. Winds will be out of the southwest around 5 to 10 mph Saturday night will be clear and quiet with lows around 30. The next, small chance of any rainfall will be Sunday afternoon. Temperatures will warm up the upper 40s to near 50 degrees once again. The chance of rain continues on Sunday night, possibly mixing with a few snowflakes. Most of the area will be dry through the day, but there will be just enough spark in the atmosphere to create a few light rain showers. Sunshine kicks off the work week with highs below normal in the mid- to upper-30s Monday. We will then quickly work our way up into the 40s for the middle part of the week. A chance of rainfall returns Thursday and Friday with highs in the 50s and lower 60s.
