Gino Recchia NBC26 Storm Shield Weather Forecast
A couple light rain showers swept through the area today bringing the most minor accumulations, just enough to notice the pavement is a little wet. This system is moving out of the area and we will be drying out tonight. Tonight, skies will turn partly cloudy with winds out of the north around 5 to 10 mph with overnight lows around 30 degrees. We go back into the upper-40s to around 50 Thursday with partly cloudy skies from a weak disturbance moving through the Upper Midwest. It will also be breezy. Winds will be sustained between 10 to 15 mph but we could see gusts get up to 20 to 30 mph. Skies should clear to mostly sunny by Friday as this disturbances moves out. by the afternoon, skies will be sunny with temperatures a little cooler in the lower 40s. The next chance of any rainfall will be Sunday.. Right now it appears just a few light rain showers will breeze through the area. A relatively quiet forecast over the next week will help the current flooding situation across Northeast Wisconsin.
