A month after his sudden passing, new details have been released about Kristoff St. John's death at 52. The "Young and the Restless" star's cause of death is listed as hypertrophic heart disease. His death was “accidental,” brought on by an alcohol overdose, says Extra. At the time of his death, Kristoff was struggling with depression. He had even checked himself into the UCLA Medical Center.
