Beyoncé and JAY-Z are set to receive a major honor at the 2019 GLAAD Media Awards. Extra TV reports the couple will be recognized with the Vanguard Award for their contributions in promoting acceptance of the LGBTQ community. In a statement, GLAAD President and CEO Sarah Kate Ellis said, "Beyoncé and JAY-Z are global icons and passionate defenders of human rights and acceptance for all people.
