Gino Recchia NBC26 Storm Shield Weather Forecast
Snowfall totals from the latest storm ranged mostly from 1 to 4 inches. Now the storm system is moving out of the area and gusty winds on the back side are going to remain into the overnight. Temperatures will be falling into the mid teens with gradual clearing skies and winds between 10-20 mph. There could be some higher gusts. The sunshine comes back out tomorrow (Monday) with winds lightening up out of the west around 5 to 15 mph. Temperatures will warm up into the lower 30s. Tuesday will be warmer with highs in the upper 30s. Skies will be gradually increasing with cloud cover as the next storm system takes shape to impact the Midwest. This time we will be on the warm sector of the storm. Temperatures will rise into the 40s on Wednesday and the 50s on Thursday! Both days will come with a risk of some rainfall. We cool off Friday with highs in the mid 30s with a risk of a few flurries or some light snow showers. If we manage to hit the 50 degree mark, it will be the warmest day since November 23rd, over 100 days ago.
