I-Team: City Council members coordinated, gossiped in secret group chat

The group chat that five Cincinnati City Council Democrats used to coordinate responses to scandals, strategize and gossip about other officials ran afoul of the Ohio Open Meetings Act, which mandates all official government meetings be conducted in a venue accessible to the public. The city is now on the hook for tens of thousands of dollars, and the council members are facing judicial pressure to resign.
