'Arrow' Will End Its Run After Season 8

'Arrow' star Stephen Amell confirmed that the CW series will end following the conclusion of the show's upcoming eighth season. Comicbook.com reports the decision was announced as fans have been sharing rumors that Oliver Queen, Amell's character, will die in the upcoming "Crisis on Infinite Earths" event. Amell said in a statement, "Playing Oliver Queen has been the greatest professional experience of my life... but you can’t be a vigilante forever.
