Michael Fish's NBC26 Storm Shield weather forecast

Today will be a lot like yesterday, but with a little less wind. Also like yesterday, you'll see some clouds developing and with those, a few flurries or a snow shower. Highs today will top out around 20. Any lingering snowflakes will end this evening, then we'll clear out the skies and get cold again. Lows will drop into the lower-single digits to near 0. Thursday & Friday will be quiet as temps continue to slowly warm. Highs will be in the low-20s Thursday, but low-30s on Friday. We actually make it above freezing by Saturday, but a strong low pressure system rolls through Saturday night into Sunday with some rain, sleet, freezing rain and/or snow. Too early to make the call on that one. Luckily, even after this weekend system, it still stays mild into next week. Mild meaning closer to average in the 30s each day. Progress.
