I-70 remains closed Tuesday afternoon hours after avalanche mitigation efforts

Both lanes of Interstate 70 are expected to be closed between Herman Gulch and Silverthorne Tuesday into the afternoon for avalanche mitigation work and several other mountain passes were closed as well.
