How Art is Helping Veterans Heal

Luke Yanny, a Marine Corps veteran, just won best of show at the Milwaukee VA’s local creative arts festival, and will be going on to the national competition! But Luke's artwork serves a greater purpose than winning awards; it has helped him with his mental health struggles since returning from active duty. Luke joins us to discuss his work, along with Rene Burgoyne, an Army veteran and art therapist at the Milwaukee VA, to discuss the benefits of art therapy.
