Fatal crash shows River Road speeding, visibility problems

One person died in a Tuesday afternoon crash involving a pickup and two tractor-trailers that collided at the intersection of River Road and Monitor Avenue. Two more people were hospitalized in the aftermath, and police spent hours clearing the scene of the wreck. Eric Tinker, who works nearby, said the news was heartbreaking but not unexpected.
