Amy Poehler To Direct ‘Moxie’ For Netflix

Amy Poehler is set to direct a Riot Grrrl-inspired film. TheWrap reports the 'Saturday Night Live' alum has signed on to direct “Moxie,” a story about a teenager who discovers the feminist punk rock movement Riot Grrrl and leads a feminist revolution at her high school. The Netflix film will be her second time directing a feature and her second for Netflix following “Wine Country,” which is set to debut on the streamer this May.
