Nayir Masrur said he had been stressed out about school because he was failing, but he could not explain why he also thought his family was out to harm him, said Detective Kristina Shuler with the Troy Police Department. The 20-year-old former University of Michigan student is now charged with murder, accused of using a 15-pound dumbbell to bludgeon his aunt, Dr. Rubab Huq, to death.
