Have a fabulous Friday lunch at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church

The ladies at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church get together once a week and it's not all fun and games. "We get to see each other and talk and harp and gripe and everything else-it's life-so here we are" says church trustee Nadia Marc. They are making lunch. It's a thirty year tradition here. The volunteers arrive at eight in the morning and will create as many as seventy dozen pierogi or as they call them around here "varenyky". There are cabbage rolls and beet soup too. You can eat in or take out and the dining room is open from 11am until 3pm. They do all of this to raise money for the church and because it is fun to get together and socialize.
