Fossil Creek recreation area expansion planned, public meetings underway

In the heat of the summer, Fossil Creek is the place to be -- a gorgeous and refreshing swimming spot located just between Camp Verde and Payson. But, preparing for thousands of visitors starts now and happening Monday, forest officials will be holding a public meeting to hear your input on possible changes to the popular recreation area.
