Ben Sasse demands vote on abortion survivors act

Exasperated by the Democrat Party's apparent newfound embrace of infanticide, conservative Sen. Ben Sasse of Nebraska has challenged his left-wing peers in the Senate to prove they're against the murder of newborn babies by voting Monday in favor of his Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act.

"[O]n Monday evening I'm going to be asking unanimous consent for senators to come to the floor and pass an abortion survivors protection act, an abortion survivors born-alive piece of legislation," he said on the Senate floor Thursday. " I'm going to ask all 100 senators to come to the floor and be against infanticide. This shouldn't be complicated."
